Five-day virtual tobacco-treatment training for clinicians, counselors, and health professionals pursuing Tobacco Treatment Specialist credentials. November 9–13, 2026, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM Central; daily sessions vary. A computer, webcam, and stable internet connection are required. Participants must have been tobacco- and nicotine-free for the preceding 12 months.
Registration: $1,200 general session/prescriber track; $900 for eligible academic, health-science-center, or health-professions-school employees; $650 for eligible FQHC/LMHA employees, with only five places in that category. The $250 price applies only to the Thursday prescriber track, not the full five-day course. Current category availability must be confirmed with the organizer.
The course header lists 32.25 CME/nursing hours and one ethics hour, while the accreditation narrative states 31.25 CME/nursing hours and one ethics credit. These source totals conflict; confirm the applicable credit total directly with MD Anderson. The October 16 refund deadline has passed.
